Gabion basket is weaved by corrosion resistance, high strength and good ductility galvanized wire or PVC coating wire through mechanical. Wire's material is zinc-5% aluminum alloy (galfan), low carbon steel, stainless steel or iron.
Gabion mattress is similar to gabion basket. But gabion mattress's height is lower than gabion basket, structure is flat and big.
Gabion basket and gabion mattress are stone containers, uniformly partitioned into internal cells, interconnected with other containers and filled with stone at site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures to control and guide water or flood, protect dam or seawall, or used as retaining walls, channel lining and other applications.

Material
Galvanized wire
Galvanized wire is made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire rods. It is made of high-quality low-carbon steel and undergoes wire drawing and forming, acid washing and rust removal, high-temperature annealing, hot-dip galvanizing and cooling treatment.
Polyvinyl chloride coated wire

Galfan wire

Product Process
Reinforce the gabion mesh
Reinforcing nets were added to the metal wires that were perpendicular or parallel to the weaving direction. Reinforced gabion cages are made of reinforced nets.
The tensile strength of reinforced mesh is higher than that of ordinary mesh, and the diameter of the reinforced wire is thicker than that of the net wire.

3-twist gabion mesh
For 3-twist gabions, low-carbon steel wires of different materials are selected. The twisted pair wire is wound three times during the gabion mesh process, and the twisted diameter is generally about 3 centimeters.
3-twist gabion mesh can be woven with low-carbon steel wires of different thicknesses. Woven gabion mesh is durable and economical.
5-twist gabion mesh
5-Twist refers to the twisted-pair wire of the gabion mesh being wound five times during the gabion mesh process. The structure is solid. The gabion mesh is a flexible structure and has a good self-regulating ability for uneven settlement. It is widely used in the strength of floor slabs and roofs of buildings, walls of children's playgrounds and poultry cages.
